Here is my second gargoyle in my series. Little bit of a different angle from the first one.
"Memento Vivere" is what is carved into the stone beyond the gargoyle. Loosely translated it means, "Remember that life goes on." Great epitaph for a tombstone, isn't it?
On a side note, did you know that "gargoyle" and "gargle" are both from the same Latin/French root word for "throat"? That's because gargoyles were mostly used as drain pipe decorations!

I'm pretty stoked about that "gargle" thing. I'm really tempted to do a gargoyle gargling. Maybe have birds taking a bath in in?
